The Luçon racecourse was built in 1843. Over time, the site was gradually expanded, with the construction of a grandstand in 1902 and a stewards' room in the 1950s. 2015 marked the return of racing, with two scheduled meetings (harnessed and mounted trotting).
It is equipped with a 1,354-meter long, 24-meter wide, left-hand string grass track with a clearance track.
Races are held in summer.
