Lovers' dictionary of the Hautes-Pyrénées departmental archives
Come and discover almost 100 objects from private and public archive collections: rare documents, unusual artifacts, poignant stories? Fragments of memories and slices of individual lives that, over time, have shaped our collective history.
More than art objects, each of these documents is the trace of human lives: those of the people who produced or received them, and those of the people mentioned in them.
This is the exceptional value of archives, which bear witness to administrative, personal, economic and social activity... to life!
> Exhibition open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm
> Guided tours: Wednesdays, 3 pm to 4 pm - Registration required (groups of 6 people minimum / 20 people maximum).
In the absence of a sufficient number of participants, tours may be cancelled and rescheduled.
