CHÂTEAU DE SOUM

📍 Lourdes, Hautes-Pyrénées · 65100 Lourdes
À propos
Originally called the "Villa Fournau" and later "Le Château de Soum", the building was built by the lourdais architect Jean-Marie Lacrampe for the Fournau Family (former lourdais hotel family) in the years 1900-1901. It was then bought by Mrs Suberville who in turn sold it to the City of Lourdes during the first years after the 2nd World War to set up a Professional Training Centre. From 1974 to 2009, it was the seat of the Tribunal d'instance. Today, the building is home to musical, cultural and artistic associations.
