Imagine pushing open the door of a 70s cable car... and discovering a wood-fired sauna in the middle of nowhere, perched at over 1600m in the Pyrenees.
What could be better after a good hike? Even before you arrive, the Scandinavian wood-burning stove is already warm and waiting for you. A guide welcomes you and explains the ritual: how to make the most of the heat, manage your sessions, alternate with the cold bath if you wish...
The session lasts 1 hour, starting with an initial session of around 15 minutes in the dry heat of the sauna, followed by an exit into the fresh air to cool down, then two more sessions, alternating hot and cold as you wish. Every moment is different, as the body relaxes and the mind follows.
