Beautiful example of the Languedoc Gothic style with a wide nave (20.25 m) and an imposing vault (23.5 m)
The octagonal bell tower is 54 metres high, with a square base and houses a carillon of 47 bells. It is accessible to the public by a staircase of 232 steps (2.50€), and offers a breathtaking view of the whole city of Carcassonne.
Rich art furniture: paintings and lectern from the 17th century, paintings by Gamelin, Nicolas Mignard and Pierre Subleyras. Roses and windows from the 15th century. Bell tower closed 1 hour before the church closes.
Bell tower inaccessible during the Vents d'Anges concerts in July and August on Saturday morning.
