TRAIL NOCTURNE DU CHÂTEAU COMTAL 2026

The Grand Raid des Cathares is an Ultra Trail event, with 7 different race formats. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced trail runner, there's something for everyone.
Created in 2015, the Grand Raid des Cathares held its twelfth edition on October 22, 23 and 24, 2026, departing from Carcassonne.

The Trail Nocturne du Château Comtal is a race limited to 500 participants. Runners will cover a distance of around 12 km, with a 250 m elevation gain.
This is an all-night, open-air race, with a varied route along the Cathar paths. This race is run alone, and the principle is one of semi-self-sufficiency at a free pace in a single stage.

*Raid des Bogomiles: 101 km: 4,300 m D+, October 23 at 11 a.m
*Raid des Troubadours: 85 km: 3,200 D+, October 23 at 9am
*Trail des Hérétiques: 63 km: 2,750 m D+, October 24 at 4am
*Trail des Colombes: 41 km: 1,300 m D+, October 24 at 8am
*Trail des Patarins: 25 km: 850 m D+, October 23 at 2pm
*Trail nocturne du château comtal: 12 km: 250 m D+, October 23 at 8pm
