ARTERRIS STATION LÉGUMIÈRE ASPERGES

At its vegetable station in Bram, the Arterris Cooperative supports some fifteen of its members in the production of Pays Cathare asparagus in open fields.
Within its agricultural division, Arterris supports vegetable production that demands technical mastery and is adapted to the terroirs of the Aude region. This is the case for asparagus, a traditional crop of the Lauragais region, which in just a few years has become one of the jewels in the crown of vegetable production in the Aude, growing from a few ares to several hectares, thanks to constant improvements in production technologies.
