Bénabar

In 1997, French music threw open its doors to the deceptively disillusioned world of Bénabar, who sings—with ironic yet tender familiarity— about life’s little existential worries and the big daily hassles. His songs are like musical short films, recounting everything from a rainy birthday in Brittany to the first lesson riding a bike without training wheels, or even the trials and tribulations of a municipal marching band. In 2026, his eleventh studio album was released: *Le Soleil des Absents*. Both intimate and festive, it’s a collection of luminous tracks, such as “Elles dansent,” inspired by his daughter, or the second single, “Reste-t-il du bonheur?” 2025 marked the 20th anniversary of *Reprise des négociations*, an iconic album featuring the unforgettable “Le dîner.” A symbolic anniversary that will resonate at the heart of this highly anticipated tour, featuring unreleased tracks and reunions.
