The Phare de La Coubre lighthouse is located in La Tremblade, at the northern end of the Gironde Estuary. It is the highest lighthouse in Charente-Maritime, with 300 steps and a height of 64 m. Tiled in opaline, the Eiffel staircase overlooks the Côte Sauvage.
