Armada de Rouen 2027

Enthusiasts and curious onlookers will gather on the quays of Rouen for the 9%E8 %E9th edition of the Armada, which will take place from June 17 to 27, 2027.
The giants of the seas—40 tall ships, training ships, drakkars, and caravels—are expected, some of which have already confirmed their participation: Vera Cruz, Eendracht, Etoile du Roy, Le Français, Thalassa, La Recouvrance, Le Belem, Santa Maria Manuela

Free ship tours, cruises, concerts, and fireworks displays featuring 1,000 drones will enliven the riverbanks every day and every evening. The city of Rouen will be decked out in the colors of the Armada to welcome sailors and visitors as the banks of the Seine come alive with the comings and goings of the Seine and the grand parades.

New for 2027 as part of the celebration of Normandy’s Millennium: 40 Norman ships and Viking drakkars are expected on the quays of Rouen’s south bank. The drakkars (Norway, Denmark) will depart from Ornavik Park in Hérouville-Saint-Clair, near Caen, and will make their way to Rouen, stopping along the way in Caen, Dives-sur-Mer, Honfleur, Rives-en-Seine, Duclair, and other locations.
