This is how the story begins, when everything changes. A woman suddenly decides to turn her back on society. In search of a new equilibrium, she goes deep into the forest.
Not far from there lives Mélusine, half-woman, half-creature, victim of an evil spell. Between myth and reality, two tales of metamorphosis intertwine.
Produced using the Lith silver process, Mélanie Dornier?s monochrome prints reveal the female figure and question our relationship with nature, animality and freedom.
