Stephan Eicher has always loved new adventures and taking a different path. This new show—as daring as it is captivating, just like him—is proof of that. The Bernese musician dreamed of breaking away from the frenetic pace of touring, to settle into a theater to work %AB with the crew of one of these great, firmly anchored ships, at the heart of one of these marvelous machines, these vessels of dreams. %BB Which is exactly what he did at the Carouge Theater in Switzerland.

With the help of François Gremaud as director, he tells his story in his own way, humorously sharing moments from his artistic life and personal experiences. With his first synthesizer—bought in 1980—a dusty drum machine, and an acoustic guitar by his side, he revisits his songs and takes us along on a journey through stories and music in this astonishing theatrical and musical solo performance, ten years after his last appearance in Coutances.
