The festival kicks off at the Collégiale Notre-Dame de Vernon with a recital by Éric Lebrun, titular organist at the church of Saint-Antoine-des-Quinze-Vingts in Paris. This exceptional concert will feature works by J.S. Bach, in particular the Prelude and Fugue in C major BWV 547 and the Fantasy and Fugue in G minor BWV 542. In tribute to the centenary of Claude Monet's death, painter-pastellist Thierry Citron will create a live work during the musical performance.
