Jean-Jacques Henner, winner of the famous Grand Prix de Rome for painting in 1858, began his career in Alsace and ended it in Paris, adorned with multiple distinctions. Much of his prolific work is now on show in a superb private mansion built during the Third Republic, near the Parc Monceau. An invitation to the public to rediscover the work of an exceptional artist of his time.
