The Musée de la Libération de Paris, dedicated to General Leclerc and Jean Moulin, is located on the Place Denfert-Rochereau. Inaugurated in 2019 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Liberation of Paris, it traces the history of these figures and of this major event. Located on the historic site of Denfert-Rochereau, the museum offers an immersive experience, including Rol-Tanguy's underground command post. Its aim is to inform the public about this key period, hence the free access to its collections. An indispensable place of memory for understanding this crucial period.
