Moulin de la Charité - Montparnasse

📍 Paris, Paris · Cimetière du Montparnasse - 3 boulevard Edgard Quinet, 75014 Paris
À propos
In the heart of the Montparnasse cemetery stands the last of the thirty mills that once surrounded the Montrouge plain. Built in the 17th century by the Brothers of Saint-Jean de Dieu or of Charity, it was transformed into a guinguette during the French Revolution. Incorporated into the cemetery in 1824, it became the janitor's dwelling. Today, this historic mill has been abandoned, becoming a silent witness to its eventful past.
🕐 Horaires et périodes d'ouverture
The mill can only be seen from the outside. Visiting hours are those of the cemetery. Times depend on the season.
