Maison La Roche

📍 Paris, Paris · 8 - 10 Square du Docteur Blanche, 75016 Paris
À propos
Built between 1923 and 1925 by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, the Maisons La Roche and Jeanneret are icons of 1920s architecture. Only the Maison La Roche is open to the public, classified as a Historic Monument in 1996. This unique house combines an art gallery with Raoul La Roche's reinforced concrete apartments. Le Corbusier applied his "Five Points of New Architecture" to the building. The Maison Jeanneret houses the Fondation Le Corbusier and holds the architect's original drawings. Listed as a Unesco World Heritage site in 2016, this is a must-see for architecture enthusiasts.
