Maison de Nicolas Flamel

Nicolas Flamel's 15th-century house in Paris is the oldest in the city. Run by Flamel and his wife Pernelle as a home for the poor, it demanded prayers in exchange for lodging. Flamel, a renowned alchemist, is said to have discovered the philosopher's stone. Listed as a historic monument, the house features a carved stone facade and now houses a restaurant, offering the chance to discover its history.
