La Géode, in the heart of La Villette, is a unique cinema with a spherical structure 36 m in diameter. Its 1,000 m² screen and capacity for 400 spectators offer an exceptional visual experience thanks to Omnimax technology, projecting images nine times larger than 35 mm. Designed by architect Adrien Fainsilber, it has been enlarging moviegoers' field of vision since its inauguration in May 1985.
