Jardin de l'Intendant

Designed by Robert Cotte in the 17th century, the Jardin de l'Intendant was recreated in 1980, faithful to the original plans. In perfect harmony with the chapelle des Invalides, this garden features a 19th-century statue by Ernest Dubois, in homage to Mansart. It embodies all the classic elements of French-style gardens, with its yew trees, boxwood and geometrically trimmed hedges.
