📍 Paris, Paris · 123 rue Saint-Dominique, 75007 Paris
À propos
The Romanian Embassy moved into the Hôtel de Béhague in 1939, a historic building constructed in 1867 for Countess Amédée de Béhague. Nicknamed the "Byzantium of the 7th arrondissement", it is brimming with architectural and artistic treasures, including a magnificent staircase, a painting by François Boucher, a ballroom and a 19th-century library. A private theater regularly hosts a variety of cultural events. Restoration work will begin in autumn 2017 to preserve this architectural gem.
