Inaugurated on 3 October 1920, the monument consists of a grey stone pedestal topped by a hairy statue. The founder is Val d'Osne from Paris. A commemorative plaque made by the marble mason Dechamps de Montreuil is affixed in the church of Saint-Eugène.
