Nestled in the heart of Compiègne, Les Picantins bakery celebrates the famous local specialty of the same name. Created in 1920, Les Picantins are delicious chocolates in the shape of little soldiers, with a thin shell of milk chocolate enclosing a melting heart of almond and hazelnut praline. Their name pays homage to the three masked figures in the St. Nicholas Day procession, symbols of the town.
