Ideally located in the heart of the Vosges mountains in a quiet, natural environment, the chalet is situated on a mountainside close to the ski slopes, the forest and the town center, 1 km away. It is set in a quiet, natural setting where children will have plenty of fun. The chalet is luminous because it benefits from the brightness of the valley, it has large bay windows, it is oriented to take advantage of the sunset and allows at night to appreciate the lights of the city and the multitude of stars which are visible from a certain height. It's bright, because in autumn and winter, when the region is under cloud, Gérardmer often enjoys a beautiful blue sky.
The chalet is comfortable and well insulated, and was built in 2014 in line with low-energy consumption and respect for the environment. It features a heat pump, wood-burning stove, large double-glazed windows, double-flow ventilation and a Canadian well. The Canadian well, coupled with the double-flow VMC, ensures a temperate atmosphere inside the chalet during hot weather.
Large terrace overlooking the valley, outdoor furniture, grounds of over 1000 m2, slide, etc.
Parking and private road.
Kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, electric hob, fridge-freezer, granite worktop. Dyson vacuum cleaner), dining room, living room, stove, TV, DVD player, radio, wifi.
Ideal for 7 people, the sofa bed (150x200) can also accommodate up to 9.
Spring-green bedroom: 1 double bed (160x200) plus possibility of adding a crib. View over the valley.
Summer blue room: 1 king-size double bed 180x200. View over the valley.
Autumn room (red): 2 single bunk beds 90x200 and 1 single bed 90x190. Mountain view.
Bathroom with toilet at the Chalet entrance. Large 120x90 shower with large showerhead.
Upstairs bathroom with toilet and bathtub.
Washing machine, tumble dryer, charcoal barbecue, terrace furniture and deckchairs are available.
Sheets and towels available on request.
Rates include electricity, heating and wood for the stove.
For linen and towels there is a flat rate of 120 Euros.
