Musée des mines de fer de Lorraine Neufchef

Immerse yourself in the heart of the iron mine galleries exploited by the "yellow faces".
A guided tour of a kilometer-long underground trail takes you in the footsteps of the iron miners to relive 150 years of industrial history.

The museum features a collection of over 250 miners? lamps, the only one of its kind in France. Three exhibition rooms plunge you into the life of the miner on leaving the mine, with reconstructions of a café and kitchen. Models and documents will give you the opportunity to learn more about the industrial history of Lorraine.
