The zeppelin's night-time fire was visible within a 20 km radius. The victims were buried in the Rembercourt aux Pots military cemetery. The next day, the 10,000 franc bonus promised by the newspaper "Le Matin" to the first gunner to shoot down a Zeppelin was presented by the Minister of War.
