On the first floor, you’ll explore the Jules Bastien Lepage exhibit. Here you’ll find:
- a general introduction to the artist’s life and work
- an iconographic gallery for displaying drawings and fragile objects
- a painting gallery.
On the second level, the section dedicated to fortifications aims to highlight the richness, diversity, and interest of the Meuse region’s heritage in the field of military architecture, from its origins to the end of the 18th century: scale models of defensive structures, antique weapons, aerial views of fortified sites in the Meuse region, etc.
