Located alongside the Citadelle campsite, take advantage of the motorhome service area to empty your vehicle. Parking is available either in front of the gîte de randonnée or in the lower town.

Now that's an entrance with style! Your motorhome won't be able to drive over the ramparts and drawbridge, but you can park in the parking lot at the entrance to the Citadelle.

Take the opportunity to explore the Montmédy citadel through the Musée de la Fortification, the Musée Jules Bastien-Lepage and the Circuit des Remparts, a 1 km signposted trail offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, as well as the history of the citadel through explanatory panels, videos and quizzes.

Fancy a stroll? We recommend a 2 km themed walk called "Le sentier des songes" ("The dream trail") between the ramparts and the foliage.
Follow up with a visit to the corn maze to test your sense of direction.
