Le monument aux Morts

This monument to the dead is in the form of an altar with a stone and bronze statue of a slain soldier lying on muddy ground; it is supported by two winged women, seated, their heads bowed and covered with a veil. Designed by sculptor Gaston Broquet, it was inaugurated in 1923 by President Poincaré.
