A video exhibition resulting from a participatory project based in Reims, this documentary work invites viewers to display an everyday object received from one of their relatives, to explorereflect on this legacy, and to share the connection they have with it.

As multidisciplinary artists, Irvin Anneix and Hélène Combal-Weiss are interested in transgenerational transmission. With *Objets relais*, the duo gives a voice to local residents in a collaborative project that explores the past and the realities of the Remois region. This long-term artistic project unfolds in several stages, beginning with field researchwith the participants, followed by the filming and editing of the collected audiovisual testimonies. The final presentation takes the form of an exhibition conceived as a video installation highlighting the participants and the chosen object that is dear to them, paying tribute to the unseen stories, the lives of the past, and the small stories within the larger ones.
