For over twenty years, Benjamin Biolay has been distilling, album after album, a pop-rock melancholy that has become his signature. With Le Disque Bleu, his eleventh double album, he opens a new chapter, inspired by a musical journey between France and South America. Composed, written and recorded between Paris, Sète, Brussels, Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro, this album took shape alongside musicians from Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, as well as his long-time accomplice Pierre Jaconelli. The 24 tracks on Le Disque Bleu reveal a Biolay on the move, guided by otherworldliness and sonic crossbreeding.
