À propos
Eglise Saint-Martin is built on stilts over a stretch of water. It has three Romanesque crypts. The choir and transept arms are built of local stone, known as "Falloises". The Puits Saint-Martin is an ancient pagan cult site that has been Christianized.
Inside the church, an Aubertin organ is surrounded by oak carvings, preserving the instrument?s resonance and sonority.
The Eglise Saint-Martin also boasts 3 crypts dedicated to Sainte Anne, Saint Quentin and Saint Nicolas.
Brochures in French, English and German are available in the church or from the Communauté de Communes de la Région de Vertus.
