MEUSE

Meuse is part of the association of the 9 villages that make up the Val de Meuse commune, along with Montigny le Roi (village center), Epinant, Lécourt, Lénizeul, Maulain, Provenchères-sur-Meuse, Ravennefontaines and Récourt. Founded in 1972, the commune has over 2,000 inhabitants and covers an area of over 7,700 hectares. The village of Meuse takes its name from the 950 km-long river, formed here by the joining of several streams.
