MAULAIN

Maulain is part of the association of 9 villages that make up the Val de Meuse commune, along with Montigny le Roi (village center), Meuse, Epinant, Lécourt, Lénizeul, Provenchères-sur-Meuse, Ravennefontaines and Récourt. Founded in 1972, the commune has a population of over 2,000 and covers an area of over 7,700 hectares. The village was once a place of pilgrimage around the earth of its cemetery and the symbolism of the snake and water.
