À propos
The Saint-Laurent fountain, also known as Sainte-Salaberge, was said to cure certain ailments (head and arm). There is a disputed supposition that Salaberge, abbess of Laon, was born in Meuse in the 7th century. This washhouse, situated below the road, has preserved its large washing basin, its smaller basin used as a rinsing basin, and six wall niches. The layout allowed washerwomen to work standing or kneeling.
