The Métaltech production school, located in Nogent, is dedicated to training 15-18 year-olds as mill-turners, in response to the needs of local manufacturers.
A member of the "Les Écoles de production" network, the supervisory team - consisting of a director, two master craftsmen and volunteer teachers - will train tomorrow's machinists via a two-year CAP (vocational training certificate) for Production Plant Operators. 24 hours of workshop training, 11 hours of theory classes, work on real orders, know-how and interpersonal skills - these are the training activities implemented by the school.
