PRAUTHOY

The inhabitants of Prauthoy were once known as "Boyas", dreamers (from the verb bayer ?aux corneilles). On the village heights, in a place called Le Chanois, a local legend has it that on certain nights, a ring could be seen on a rock. Whoever came to snatch it had to hold it tightly and never open their hand under any circumstances, otherwise it would disappear forever. The slopes of the Chanois also produced a fine wine.
