The Cascade de la Chèvre is a beautiful waterfall that rises from the Ruisseau du Crêt.
It is the most remarkable site in the commune of Charmoy, and is at its most beautiful after a sustained rainfall. Its waters flow into the Mediterranean via the Mance, Saône and Rhône rivers.
The origin of its name has been lost over time, and is thought to derive either from the animal or the tool that was once used to lift heavy loads.
