Square Boulingrin
À propos
Created when the fortifications were dismantled, the Boulingrin garden (a deformation of bowling-green) features a monumental fountain acquired in 1865 from the Tusey foundry. With its nymph and lovers, it offers a delightful setting in which clear water is the moving argument in a décor that harmoniously combines cast-iron art and high-quality flowers. A fine replica of the statue of Love cutting his arrows from Hercules' club, created by Chaumont sculptor Edme Bouchardon, also graces this garden, which also boasts a bandstand. Children's playground and public toilets on site.
