À propos
The present building, built in 1831 and renovated in 2003, stands on the site of the former Renaissance "Neuhaus", which served as a meeting place on the first floor, while the ground floor was used as a sales hall. In the hall of the town hall, on either side of the inner porch, are inscribed the names of illustrious Rouffachois. Upstairs, in the council chamber, is an oil portal and the white marble bust of Marshal Lefebvre, a work by David d'Angers offered by the Duchess of Danzig to the town of Rouffach. A copy of the bust surmounts the monument located on the Place Clemenceau.
