Château des ducs de Wurtemberg

From 1324 to 1796 Riquewihr was under the domination of the counts of Wurtemberg. During your visit, you will see the coat of arms representing three deer antlers. In 1540, Duke Georges de Wurtemberg had the old castle demolished to build the present one, with its crenellated gable characteristic of the Rhenish art of the 16th century.
