Lili Hourtoulle

Another pure Münster! Lili Hourtoulle knows the history of the Hartmann family and their factories inside out. And with good reason. She worked there from the age of 14 for 27 years.
A jack-of-all-trades - so she says - Lili was part of the first wave of redundancies, which eventually led to her becoming an administrative manager at Munster-based ELAG (a Swiss company specializing in packaging) until her retirement in 2007. Why become a Greeter?
One day in Venice, Lili, who loves to travel, found a charming old gentleman who was more than happy to show her the nooks and crannies of the city, whereas in a group she would only have seen the obligatory tourist sites. That's what made her decide to take the plunge and join the Greeters team in Munster! Having grown up in the Elm district, she also loves showing Munster off the beaten track, and as secretary of the Munster Fire Brigade Association, she wouldn?t rule out acting as a guide at the local rescue center for firefighters from elsewhere.
