À propos
Eric Babilon is in charge of a maintenance company covering several departments in the east of France. So, to clear his head and bronchi, as soon as he gets back to Munster, he climbs the ridges to see "his" chamois! Mostly approaching, with his camera, he tries to capture these ungulates in their every expression.
The result is a series of large-format prints of these endearing animals, which he intends to share with as many people as possible at forthcoming exhibitions. But also, of course, "in vivo", by taking tourists with him. But quietly, above all!
Another passion is History with a capital H. A native of Niederbronn-les-Bains in the Bas-Rhin region, he had plenty of time to cultivate his historical classics, including Froeschwiller, where the Battle of Reichshoffen took place, and the nearby Maginot Line forts. As the great-great-great-grandson of a soldier in the Napoleonic Wars, Eric Babilon also knows the Linge and Reichackerkopf sites like the back of his hand, and is always happy to show tourists around. That's why, when he discovered that the Munster Valley Tourist Office had created a team of Greeters, he decided to get involved with enthusiasm, in a spirit of sharing and meeting interested and interesting people.
