Denis Monhardt

📍 Munster, Haut-Rhin · 1 rue du Couvent, 68140 Munster
À propos
Denis Monhardt has been a history teacher at the Lycée Kirschleger in Munster since 1974, and every year he takes his pupils on as many discovery trips as he can, and of course, trips of a historical nature throughout Europe. He wears many different hats. Just think: in 1975 he became titular organist of the "Mulheim" organ in the Protestant church in Munster, rebuilt in 1984/1985. President of the Association des Amis des Orgues, Denis Monhardt is also behind the Church and Tourism concerts in July and August.

In a completely different field, Denis Monhardt is a fisherman through and through, representing the Association de pêche et de pisciculture de la Petite vallée de la Fecht and secretary of the Fédération des associations de pêche et de pisciculture du Haut-Rhin. And that's not all: he also sings in the Soultzeren Choral Union, is on the board of the parish church, the Ski Club and, with his wife, loves hiking in the mountains - in the Munster valleys, of course, but also, and especially, in the Alps - as well as long-distance trips to Africa and elsewhere. "I love meeting people", he says with a smile, which, it has to be said, is the first virtue of being a greeter. Denis Monhardt certainly is!
