The General de Gaulle Square was completely redeveloped in 2022. It now overlooks the Rhone to Rhine Canal. There is a monument commemorating the First Armored Division and a sculpture representing a broken chain in bronze, symbol of the Free French and the Resistance. It is a pleasant place to relax.
