El sembrador

The Chilean artist Inti created this monumental 160m2 fresco in 2014. It is a public commission from the city of Mulhouse during an urban renewal operation carried out as part of the "The Wall" project carried out by the Mulhouse-based association Epistrophe. The work represents a "Sembrador" or a sower. Inti declines his character according to the theme he gives to his work here we can see that the fabrics that make up the character's outfit have particular patterns: they are inspired by collections from the museum of printing on fabric.
