Cité Wolf

In 1905, in the place known as "Au loup", once covered with meadows, the town council with a social democratic majority decided to build housing to fight against high rents. Divided into small 3-storey buildings with an original treatment of the roofs, they are built between Risler, Lefebvre and de la Martre streets. From 1924 to 1928, the second phase of the city was built. It is based on a treatment of blocks (rue de Nancy, rue de Lure, rue de Vesoul and rue de Valmy) with entrance porches to the courtyards on the cemetery side and allotment gardens inside.
