La Maison de l'Ami Fritz

If you are passing through Wissembourg, the little Alsatian Venice, don't forget to stop for a moment in front of the famous house of the Friend Fritz. Formerly the house of the Tanners, built in 1550, it bears this name because it was here that the film about 'Ami Fritz', the famous character of Erckmann-Chatrian, was shot in 1932.
