Musée de sismologie et de magnétisme terrestre

Installed in 1900 in one of the German buildings of the university, intended to serve as a seismological station following the occupation after the war of 1870. The collection comprises 18 instruments relating to the development of seismometer technology from the early 19th century to the 1950s, as well as a collection of instruments for measuring the earth's magnetic field. These collections of seismometers and magnetometers are the most important collections to be assembled in one place.
