Eglise Saint Martin à Rangen
À propos
Rangen church is first mentioned in the 11th century. It was an annex of Hoheng?ft and later of Zeinheim. Its tower is a vestige of a 12th-century place of worship. The nave dates from the 18th century, and the date 1868 on the west entrance door indicates the restoration of this part of the church. Following a fire in 1980, the interior of the tower was modified. The building is dedicated to Saint Martin, and certain sculptures suggest that it was built in the Romanesque style, such as the carved head in the north wall, known as "du Romain".
